I love to experiment with unusual materials. As I walk in the local landscape I sometimes find animal remains. This piece has delicate little bird skull fused into the glass in the centre.

My Love

A line from Rabbie Burns is the inspiration for this panel. The rose is made from a vintage lamp lens.


The Angus landscape is full of cozy little cottages. In winter they can be seen through the bare trees.

The Butties' House

Friends of mine have a little cottage in a nearby has it's own phonebox!

A Broken Window in Thrums

Kirriemuir is the birth place of JM Barrie, famous for his play Peter Pan. He also wrote the book A Window in Thrums.

Tartan Rectangle

These Thrums Tartan panels are made using fused glass.


This panel was made as a celebration of the life of my mother. She was a wonderful seamstress. The panel contains a pin tin lid.


This panel was made to celebrate my Father's life. It includes many motifs that surrounded his life and includes kiln fired glass, found objects, and glass casting.

Textured Crosses

The colour of the glass is the feature of this panel. I used a wax resist technique to decorate the glass pieces.
